The Kansas City Chiefs are inviting fans from across the globe to join in on 'The World's Largest Tailgate' before the 2023 NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs open the 2023 season with their week one game against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023.

The team is going all-in with a massive celebration sponsored by Bud Light.

The World’s Largest Tailgate is, "A virtual tailgate and concert experience hosted live from the Ford Tailgate District outside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and streamed to mobile devices, living rooms, restaurants, bars and fan clubs in Chiefs Kingdom and around the globe."

Kansas City-born YouTube stars, the Merrell Twins, are set to host the event. The show will feature American DJ and producer duo Two Friends, as well as segments with Saturday Night Live’s Heidi Gardner, influencer Tabitha Swatosh and appearances by Donna 'Mama' Kelce.

Chiefs legends and other special guests will make an appearance at the 90-minute show, which begins at 4:30 p.m.

Football and music fans alike are invited to visit this website to reserve a virtual seat to attend the show.

“Chiefs Kingdom is wherever you are, and the World’s Largest Tailgate is one way we can unite people in Kansas City, around the country and throughout the world around the fact that NFL football is back in a big way,” Chiefs President Mark Donovan said.

Fans attending the game at Arrowhead can attend the live show inside the Ford Tailgate District. Space will be limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis
